Modena is located in Central Italy and the conference venue, Camera di Commercio, is in the city. You can reach the conference venue by train (it is 10 mins walking from the Modena train station) or by car (3-10 mins walking from the parking areas).



Modena is located on the railway line Milan-Bologna and lots of local, intercity and interregional trains leave and arrive each hour. You can catch a high speed train to Bologna and then a train to Modena. You can also catch a train to the Mediopadana AV Reggio-Emilia station, on the high speed train line connecting Bologna to Milan, and a bus to Modena.


    

Modena is on the highway Milano-Bologna-Firenze-Roma at about 50 mins from Bologna and 2hrs from Milan.
Close to the conference venue there are many parking area at a walking distance. Some parkings are:

You can reach Modena from the international airport in Bologna by the shuttle aerbus service

Participants are now invited to submit abstracts for oral & poster presentations.

Deadline for abstract submission for oral and poster presentations is July 31, 2026.

Language for abstracts & slides: English.

Accepted abstracts for oral and poster communications will be published in the Congress Proceedings with ISBN code.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: each presentation will be scheduled for a total of 15 minutes.

POSTERS: 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) maximum size.

Guided tour of the town of Modena
- Cathedral (interior) - Piazza Grande with Ghirlandina Tower, Town Hall (exterior)
- Piazza Mazzini with the Synagogue - Piazza Roma with Palazzo Ducale (exterior)
- Visit to the historic rooms of the Town Hall (if possible)
The tour through the heart of Modena allows you to explore the Romanesque complex of the Cathedral, Ghirlandina Tower, and Piazza Grande, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. From the charming Piazza Grande, you arrive at the Town Hall, a 17th-century collection of buildings built for various purposes in the Middle Ages. Here, you can visit the historic section with its frescoes of historical interest. The guide will accompany you through the unique scenery of the historic center, and finally, you'll reach the magnificent Piazza Roma to admire the exterior of the Palazzo Ducale. Built in the 17th century by the Este family, it is now home to the Military Academy.

Ticket: € 10 to be paid at the conference. (Maybe a slight difference depending on number of registered people)
The tour will be done only if a minimun number of 40 participants is reached.
