HOW TO REACH THE VENUE




● From Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport:
The shuttle PisaMover connecting the airport with Pisa Centrale Railway Station operates every day from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, with variable frequencies depending on the number of passengers. The average travel time between the airport and the railway station, including intermediate stops, is about 5 minutes.

● From Pisa Centrale Railway Station:
The walk from Pisa Centrale to Palazzo della Carovana takes about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on your pace. Upon exiting the station, head straight toward Corso Italia until you reach the end, where it intersects with Ponte di Mezzo. After crossing the bridge, continue onto Borgo Stretto. At the end of the colonnades, turn left onto Via Ulisse Dini, which will lead you to Piazza dei Cavalieri.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Participants are now invited to submit abstracts for oral & poster presentations.

Deadline for abstract submission is April 15, 2025.

Please download the template insert your abstract and submit it by using this Submission Form.

Language for abstracts & slides: English.

Accepted abstracts for oral and poster communications will be published in the Congress Proceedings with ISBN code.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: each presentation will be scheduled for a total of 15 minutes.

POSTERS: 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) maximum size.


TRAVEL GRANTS AND AWARDS


We are glad to announce that Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza ONLUS (FPS) will sponsor five travel grants and two best presentation awards.
Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza (FPS) is a non-profit research institute focusing on biomedical research related to social challenge. The primary research groups at FPS include genomics, proteomics, nanoscience, and neuroscience, all of which are dedicated to investigating biological samples such as cells, extracellular vesicles, and tissues, with a particular focus on oncology and neuroscience research.
Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza hosts a mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics laboratory, focused on ultrasensitive proteomics analysis, and MALDI Mass Spectrometry Imaging for mapping lipids, metabolites, and peptides on tissue sections or organoids. The proteomics and metabolomics lab is directed by Dr. Liam McDonnell. FPS hosts several PhD students and young researchers, further enriching its staff. This combination of resources and collaborations fosters a dynamic and cutting-edge research environment.
