It brings together leading experts in the fields of modern molecular analyses and in the biological effects of chemical and biological warfare agents.
The topics to be covered include detection and effect of exposure of various agents such as toxins, bacteria, viruses, and chemical agents; description and protocols of
new innovative molecular detection technologies ; assessment of the effects of exposure on short term and long term health; procedures for safe removal/decontamination of
these agents and monitoring of these processes.

Con profondo rammarico si comunica la scomparsa del Prof. John H. Beynon avvenuta il 24 agosto u.s. all'età di 91 anni. Il Professor Beynon, scienziato di rilevanza internazionale, pioniere negli studi fondamentali di chimica degli ioni in fase gassosa, fondatore della scuola di spettrometria di massa di Swansea, e' stato founding Editor della rivista Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry e insignito di prestigiosi premi internazionali.Breve biografia
